BE A PLACE WHERE THE WORLD COMES TOGETHER
MUN@TIU is a conference held in Tokyo International University, a place with a broad international community. Capitalizing on an existing diverse population of Tokyo International University members, the TIUMUN team has designed the conference as an event where participants can gather internationally, bringing the communities together. Participants are expected not only to tackle the activities in a strict conduct, but also to interact with each other in a light manner, under the discussion of the decided topic, not only exchanging ideas but as well as creating new connections between personalities as representatives from places all around the world in one place.
TACKLE UNCONVENTIONAL ISSUES
One of the most challenging aspects of creating a remarkable MUN is coming up with a distinctive topic that will be able to raise questions that have not been sufficiently addressed. Countless discussions concerning MUN@TIU 2018's topic were held in order to achieve this and after many clashes between ideas and opinions, the team is confident that this year will deliver an exciting debate. Going beyond customary grounded topics, MUN@TIU will cover the weaponization of the outer space, which is an issue that has yet to be a contemporary matter. However, many entities have already started deliberating on this prospect, rendering this discussion as a very salient and unprecedented matter.
SURPASS THE STATUS QUO
Hosted by an exceptionally diverse team of international members, MUN@TIU 2018 aims to cater to every participating delegate in a fun and exciting way. Our main goal is to organize MUN@TIU as a conference where all participants can not only feel comfortable during interaction with fellow delegates, but also have a chance to overcome their fears as well as learn valuable knowledge and personal skills. Ultimately, TIUMUN will be combining the strengths of each and every member to ensure a conference of the highest standards and even more. Rest assured, the MUN@TIU will not disappoint.
